Transportation & LUGGAGE

We offer a variety of transportation options to/from camp.

  • Sessions begin on Sundays. Families driving their campers should arrive between 1PM - 3PM on the session start day.

Upon arrival at camp, families can expect to park at the farm and be transported to the main part of campus using our trolley. Upon arrival, we will check in your camper at the Health Center with a quick wellness check. This is a time to turn in any medications or supplements at our Health Center and deposit valuables or electronics at our Welcome Center. We’ll give you and your family a tour of the campus and show your camper to their cabin. Our camper orientation is at 4pm.

Sessions end on Saturdays. Pick-up is between 8AM – 10AM on the session departure day. We encourage families who pick up campers to come a day earlier, as our visiting day and Art Festival showcase is on Fridays.

  • Chaperoned buses depart from New York, Westchester, and Newton, MA on the session start day.

Flying as an Unaccompanied Minor: Before arriving at the airport, please check with your airline to determine if your camper should fly as an unaccompanied minor. These arrangements will need to be made for flights to andfrom camp. If your camper is traveling as an unaccompanied minor, we will inform you who to name as the contact.

Whenever possible, we meet campers right at their gate. If airline policy prevents this, campers should proceed to baggage claim, where a Med-o-lark staff member will be waiting.

Our team will assist with luggage and ensure campers board the camp shuttle directly to Medolark. We monitor all flights for delays. Five days before your camper’s arrival, we’ll be in communication with your family to ensure you have everything you need like a contact phone number.

LUGGAGE PRO-TIPS

Duffel bags are preferred—they're much easier to store.

If you can, ship your luggage ahead of time using UPS, FedEx, or Luggage Forward. Bringing it with you is totally fine too!
